privacy policy

this privacy policy explains what data Chuck Bird (the "bot") collects, how it's stored, and how it's used. by using the bot in a discord server, you agree to this policy.
1. what we collect
Chuck Bird only collects data needed to make the game work:
- discord user IDs — the numeric ID discord assigns to your account, used to track your progress
- discord server (guild) IDs — used to keep server-specific data like leaderboards and settings separate
- economy and game data — feather balances, levels, XP, inventory, pets, factions, guilds, achievements, cooldowns, and other gameplay state tied to your user ID
the bot does not collect message content (beyond processing commands as they're run), email addresses, real names, IP addresses, or any other personal information.
2. how it's stored
data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase. access is restricted to the bot and its developer. Supabase's own privacy practices are described in their privacy policy.
3. how it's used
your data is used solely to run the bot's features — tracking balances, running raids and duels, showing leaderboards, and saving your progress. that's it.
4. no selling, no sharing
we do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third parties. your data is never used for advertising or analytics outside the bot itself.
5. data removal
if you want your data deleted, contact us (see below) with your discord user ID, or ask in the support server. server data is removed when the bot is kicked from a server or on request.
6. children
the bot is intended for users who meet discord's minimum age requirement (13, or older depending on your country). we do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.
7. changes to this policy
this policy may be updated from time to time. significant changes will be announced in the support server. continued use of the bot after changes means you accept the updated policy.
